Job Overview
As the Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our social media strategy. You’ll be responsible for driving engagement, creating compelling content, and building relationships with our customers through various social media channels. This role requires a proactive and innovative thinker who is passionate about digital marketing and the ever-evolving social media landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our marketing goals, enhances brand visibility, and drives customer engagement.
- Content Creation: Generate creative and impactful content tailored to our audience across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Community Management: Engage with and manage online communities by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely manner.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics. Use data-driven insights to optimize content and strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, public relations, and customer service, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Trends & Insights: Stay updated on social media trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to keep our strategies ahead of the curve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proven track record of developing successful social media campaigns.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to create persuasive content.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with paid social media advertising and budget management.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and basic graphic design skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce business models and customer engagement strategies.
